also, the amazon fire 7 inch screen, which i bought at the beginning of the
year, has a better processor, and as well as the native amazon underground
store, you can sideload the google app store.
if someone wants to get a feel for the android system at a very reasonable
price, well you can't go wrong!

From the little I've heard, you're better off using the iOS Kindle app.
Amazons voice assistant thing for older Kindles is lackluster, at best. You
have much more flexibility over reviewing text with VoiceOver than you do
with Amazons clunky, bolted on solution.
