I read a message earlier suggesting after you expand the messages in a thread you flick right to hear the list. I don't know if that will show the messages in the order you prefer. Hi all, I have a question about the threading feature in mail settings. I have gone into these settings, and have threading on, newest message on top off. When I am in the mail app, and come to a message thread, I flick up with one finger to get to the expand thread item and double tap on it. Now, when I flick down with one finger, I would expect to hear the oldest message spoken. However, I hear the newest message spoken. It doesn’t seem to matter which way I have the order of messages sety in the mail settings. I am wondering if anyone else is having this issue. Any suggestions on how to remedy this? Thanks. I'm glad to see that the focus is jumped to the most recent unread message in a thread, so you don't have to go hunting for your place. I'm also liking the feature where you can put the oldest message in a thread at the top. This is behavior I'm used to from Gmail, and it feels a lot more natural to flick down to go to the next message in a thread rather than flicking up. The only time I have issues with headers being read is on the iPad, which I have talked about under a different thread. One focus difference I have noticed, and this is consistent, if you have a message open and you hit delete, the next message opens and after you hear the subject line, if you decide you want to delete it, focus is no longer on the delete button. You have to find it again and double tap it. That's a little bit annoying, especially on the iPad where, at least for me, the delete button is harder to find.
