Hi Kimberly, After reading your message, I contacted Verizon to verify what you heard. You are correct; the unlimited data plan will go unless one pays full retail for the iPhone 5. However, before making any decisions, I would recommend you check your data usage on all of the phones on your plan. You can get that information in a text message by typing pound data and send from your phone. You may be surprised at what yo learn. For instance, my wife and I use less than a gigabyte per month by quite a bit. A 2 gigabyte plan for data usage would cost us $10 less than we are paying now. If we opt for a 4 gigabyte plan, we'd be paying the same as we are now. So in summary, I encourage you to check your data usage before running off to another carrier.
