Hi Mary,

I use "Authy" which is an app that provides codes for two-factor
authentication. You have to set up the accounts which support this and then
whenever you need a code you just open the app, select the accunt you need a
code for and it displays a 6-digit code. However, you do have to be somewhat
quick since the code is only there for 30 seconds, then it changes and the next
code is displayed for 30 seconds etc. Of course you still have the option to
get a code texted to you even if you set your primary method to use an app and
also not all services support these apps. Authy is just one option, Google
Authenticator is another and I think Microsoft also has one. Microsoft Id's
support this if you enable two-factor authentication and so does Google and
Dropbox. Apple of course uses it's own method and Roboform, the password
manager I use, sends codes by email to the registered email address.

Regards,
Sieghard

I'm not worried about getting the code and entering it, although I don't have
any vision. When I am worried about our glitches such that the code doesn't
come or whatever, essentially making your two factor authentication unusable
and locking you out on your new device. There have been some talk about some
major problems, not specified, unless I didn't see the follow up message, with
this system. So I was wondering what they were.
 That would be a problem.
Mary
