Great, is there anything in the store they could do that causes problems? When we get the phone, turn on voiceover, do nothing else, take it and back it up?

This will ensure that all watch data is backed up. Then connect your phone to your computer and choose Transfer Purchases to make sure all your purchases are on your computer. Now do an encrypted backup so you get your passwords, health data, and Homekit data if you use Homekit included in your backup. When you set up your new phone, choose to restore from iTunes. Connect your phone to your computer when prompted, and choose the most recent backup, which should be selected by default. That should do it. I’m quite comfortable backing up the phone to iTunes. The question is, when we got our last new phones, we had difficulties when restoring the old phone’s backup to the new phone. What steps do we take once we get the phones, and what steps do we avoid. Also just to be safe, are there any things we need to remember to do when backing up the phones? It seems that not all stuff is automatically stored, new purchases, etc. even though the computer is trusted. Is there an easy setting to check to make sure all apps are backed up as well as music.
