Hi Ed, If you ever want information about the models and release dates of iDevices just Google, to use your example of the iPad: “iPad Mini models and release info” This usually brings up a link to Wikipedia as one of the top search results and here you find this information in a concise and easy to read way. From the below information it is apparent that the iPad Mini 4 (the model released in September 2015) is the one to buy, it has the best chip, best camera, support for the highest bluetooth version and the most RAM as well as support for WiFi 802.11AC.
