Hi,
Yes I had read that which is what inspired the question. It is quote
logical that Apple would say that as obviously they aren't providing support
one wouldn't think should a major calamity happen. Though as evidenced on
this list by the responses there are some who choose to throw caution to the
wind and install it on a main device they use for daily productivity and I
respect that; but I think I'll fall and remain in the camp of those who have
the means to run it on a secondary device for sanity's sake or what's left
of it that is (laughs).
Thanks as always to the list for such great responses it's much appreciated.

Subject: Re: Quick Question for Apple iOS Beta Testers
Interestingly enough, here's what Apple says at
https://beta.apple.com/sp/betaprogram/legal
Please keep in mind that you should not install beta software on
production or business-critical systems. We strongly recommend
installing beta software on a secondary system or device, or on a
secondary partition on your Mac.

Hi,
I chose to beta test on a secondary device. I have an iPad Mini 4 which
I beta test with but not my iPhone or my watch or Apple TV for that
matter. Just in case something comes up with the beta that causes
voiceover to do something unexpected I can’t get caught without my
phone. I do not have a land line.

*Subject:* Quick Question for Apple iOS Beta Testers
Hi,
No worries I’m not asking anything that’d cause anyone to violate a
non-disclosure agreement at all. I’m merely wondering for those who
participate in Apple’s beta testing of iOS how many do so on their main
iDevice versus doing so on a secondary device. Right now I’ve obtained a
secondary device for beta testing purposes but still weigh sending it
back and merely testing on my main device. thus I was curious what
others chose and why.
See nothing harmful or controversial there. Thanks for indulging my
curiosity.
