Hi,
Yes and that is exactly why I'm still leaning towards keeping the second
device.
Thanks again to all who are responding. I always enjoy learning from the
experiences and views of others. It's much appreciated.

Subject: RE: Quick Question for Apple iOS Beta Testers
Hi Robin,
I guess whatever floats your boat is fine, I personally don't agree with
Kevin's thoughts since especially if you are beta testing a completely new
version of iOS and you jump on the band wagon with public beta 1 using your
main device could mean you are experiencing a major disruption of service. I
have one iPhone as I personally don't see the need to have a second one or
to have an iPad or iPod Touch so if something happened again as when iOS 9
was released where it was basically impossible to answer phone calls in many
situations that would be a real deal breaker for me with one device which I
rely on for personal and business use. It is up to you to decide what you
are willing to put up with.
Regards,
Sieghard

Hi,
I wasn't as worried about Apple as I was violating list policies about such
things which is why I was careful to clarify the scope of my question from
the outset (smile).

Firstly, the NDA isn't a big deal - you won't get in trouble by Apple for
discussing the beta publicly. Secondly, I use it on my main device because I
don't depend on my phone enough to worry about many bugs.

Hi,
No worries I’m not asking anything that’d cause anyone to violate a
non-disclosure agreement at all. I’m merely wondering for those who
participate in Apple’s beta testing of iOS how many do so on their
main iDevice versus doing so on a secondary device. Right now I’ve
obtained a secondary device for beta testing purposes but still weigh
sending it back and merely testing on my main device. thus I was
curious what others chose and why.
See nothing harmful or controversial there. Thanks for indulging my
curiosity.
