Hi,

I’m just curious if this is happening only in iOS 10.2. I haven’t been 
following this thread closely, so I apologize if this is already well known, 
but it seems this topic is new since then.

Any of us who have experienced this should write a note to 
[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> to let them know (I just 
did).  I also let them know that this is becoming the subject of public 
discussion in the VIPhone mailing list, so they understand this may be used by 
those who are considering whether or not to purchase this app.  For the price, 
I certainly feel we have the right to expect better tech support than the app 
seems to get, especially since there are free OCR apps available.

I also discussed this in my app store review, but I also tried to be fair and 
said that when it works, it’s very good.

So, please do write to them if you are also experiencing any difficulties.

Sounds exactly like what I experience with my SE. needless to say, the 
KNFBReader experience is less than inspiring.
I find myself using other apps like Prismo and iDentifi more often because of 
this.

I've tried deleting and reinstalling, as well as closing all apps in the app 
switcher before starting, and neither of those things really helped. I get 
tossed out of KNFBReader pretty often. What also happens a lot is that I get no 
field of view report. It just mays "no report available." Also, another thing 
that'll happen is that when I get a successful picture and then press the back 
button after all the text has been read, it just sits there and doesn't go back 
to the main screen. I have to completely close the app to restore functionality.

I have a 6S Plus as well and this has never happened to me. I would delete KNFB 
and reinstall it, I believe somebody else also mentioned that maybe because iut 
does use a fair bit of resources (all the OCR is done on the phone and not in 
the cloud) that it is a good idea to close some apps if you have many of them 
open. I habitually close my apps throughout the day so I rarely have more than 
2 or 3 of them open.

Yes, I’ve recently purchased KNFB, and I would say 1 out of 4 or 5 times it 
just throws me out after taking the picture (using my 6S plus).

I am running the latest update to my IPhone 6s and when using KNFB to scan a 
document, 2 out of 3 times I will get thrown out and have to go back in. Has 
anyone else had this issue? I did try reinstalling but no improvements.
