Yes, they give you audio feedback as to battery level, when they are pairing or connecting, and when the power is first switched on.

You pull either one or both earbuds out of the base unit (they extend on wires) to use it, and when done you press a button and the wires automatically wind the earbuds back up into the base unit. The base unit has buttons not only for talking to Siri and making or disconnecting calls and volume, but also for play/pause and fast forward/rewind of played audio material (which often are not present). The model I have is the LG HBS 900 but I believe someone here said there’s now a 910 available (not sure of the difference). They come in a variety of colors (mine is silver gray). One of their advantages is that when not in use, they are very unobtrusive, so they can be worn in professional or social environments and they don’t draw attention.
