Markdown is a way to format text in a simple text editor such as Voice Dream Writer or the Plain Text iOS app. You can make lists, headings, bold and italicize text, and much more. I'm not sure why I can't get an actual link instead of a Google link. Google's been doing that a lot lately--opening pages as Google links, I mean--instead of redirecting me to the actual site.
