Hello Casey, yes the information you're describing is very correct. Once you switch today carrier, you will only get a bill from that carrier. As far as being locked to another carrier that will not happen. The only time that you would be locked to a carrier, is if you bought another phone to that carrier, and then they I Have it locked to their network.
