Thanks for the link, when and hopefully if you get them please post a review.
To me they sound good, but not amazing. I like the magnetic base, would work
great in my woodworking shop where a lot of my machines have cast iron tables
or steel panels. The IP5 rating, 10-hour battery life are I think only OK, my
Outdoor Tech Turtleshell 2.0 has an IPX7 rating which means it can be compltely
submerged for up to 30 minutes in 3 feet of water and it would still work. The
Bluetooth 4.2+Edr does sound good, but if it really is that good in reality
remains to be seen. I once bought a Plantronics Sense headset which was quite
pricy and had Bluetooth 4.0 or 4.1 but the lag was the worst I have ever seen
and much worse than other stuff I have which is only Bluetooth 2.1 or 3.0.
I like the idea of Kickstarter, but if I every back any more project I don’t
know because I got burned good almost 3 years ago when I backed a project
called “Soundband”. It was supposed to be a headset similar to the Aftershokz,
but instead of via bone conduction it was supposed to work by projecting sound
via the soft tissue behind the ear. It was supposed to work as a bluetooth or
wired device leaving your ear free and they promised much better sound quality
than Aftershokz. I paid $135 US at the beginning of December 2014 and this was
supposed to be ready for Christmas. Then it was delayed and delayed again and
again… At first they sent out a ton of very technical updates with explanations
no normal person would understand or really care about, then these got less and
less and I think the last one I received was in February a year ago when they
actually had the nerve to ask people to login to Kickstarter and make sure
their information was up-to-date as they were getting ready to finally ship
these things.
They say once burned twice shy and while to me this is not necessarily the
correct philosophy in life for all situations, why should I risk my hard-earned
money on stuff somebody dreams up and even though most of it is produced and
delivered, quite often you can later on buy it on Amazon for cheaper or the
same. I hope I didn’t scare you too much with this story, as I said, I’m sure
these scams are relatively rare and hopefully these will be as good as they
sound and, if successful, maybe they will be available via regular channels.

It's one word rather than the two separate ones we both thought it was. I only
discovered these by happy accident as I looked for any new interesting
projects. These use Bluetooth 4.2 like the Aftershokz TRekz Titaniums I have
which also don't seem to have any lag that I notice. I have an iPHONE7 just in
case that makes a difference. Anyhow, there's the information.

Could you provide a link to this on Kickstarter, I searched for “Go Duo” and
nothing came up.
I’d love to read about these since as far as I am concerned there is no such
thing as lag-free bluetooth, but I’m willing to be surprised.

I'm quite happy with just my iPHONE. The iPAD for me is more confusing. Things
are necessarily more compartmented on smaller devices. I really dislike how the
iPAD lays out things like the Settings app where The different areas are all
visible. The tree structure just doesn't work well for me. I've always had
trouble with spacial stuff so that's probably a big part of it. As for sound
quality, get a Bluetooth speaker if that's something you want. I just backed a
project on Kickstarter called Go Duo which should give me good lag-free
Bluetooth speakers for use with my iPHONE when I want to share what I'm
hearing. Otherwise, I'm normally using AirPods anyway.

Kerry,

Just out of curiocity, if you are using a keyboard, what is the difference
using a keyboard with an iPad or an iPhone? It should be very much the same
experience.
I have used my Mom's iPad and for me personally it is not too appealing, I
prefer the smaller screen of my 6S Plus and, in fact, if Apple managed to
improve the battery life of the 4.8 inch phones like the 6, 6S, 7 and whatever
comes this fall to where it would be as good as that of the larger phone I'd
instantly go back to the smaller phone.
I can't be without a computer because of my business, I live in Excel so to
speak and both the accounting and point-of-sale software for my retail store is
Windows based, but I can see how somebody who mostly does email, Facebook,
using the web/online shopping and so on could be fairly happy with just an iPad
as the main device.

This is just my opinion of course but I've have found that it is absolutely
worth it. It is much easier for me to navigate with the larger screen and the
option to have a keyboard is great. I spent the extra money and got the
keyboard and I love it. As for the sound quality I can't be beat if you ask me.
It sounds even better than the 6+ that I have. I don't know about the seven but
I think it sounds even better than that because it has four speakers. Also I
have hardly ever use my desktop computer since purchasing this last year. It is
a great piece of Technology.
