Some of the problems with Siri have to do with privacy, and apples insistence on it, where as Google is quite the opposite. So there are some trade-offs here. I do also wish that Siri would become better, but not at the expense of my data going to any Tom Dick and Harry who wants to buy it from Google or Google using it for their own purposes, which are all about advertising. We need a happy medium here we're privacy is first, but robust AI is also possible. I'm hoping that's what all these new hires will do for Apple
