Hi, I tried to update my iPhone four yesterday. It appeared to download, but I got a message saying there was an error. Then I hooked my phone up to my computer. Which said my phone was in recovery mode, and to restore it. I pressed the restore button, and got a dialog saying my computer would download an update, and restore the phone. I hit the ok button. Then I waited a while, my phone said something, and when I tried to find out what it had said, I got total silence. I left it plugged into my computer, and let iTunes do it's thing, but waited a few hours, and still nothing! I then unplugged my phone from the computer, and now iTunes won't recognize that my pghone is plugged in! any suggestions! Help! I really don't want to have to go down to the apple store to try and get this resolved, plus I don't have apple care!
