Hi Richard, while on the subject of selecting text and copy, there is a
notes button in the same dialogue box. Can you tell me where to find the
notes after selecting that? I end up using access notes or the native notes
to paste what I selected. I just cant find where the notes go within voice

Get the cursor at the beginning of the text you wish to select.
Double tap on that selection spot to the left of the play button.
Then, to select whole sentences, you need to swipe down with three fingers.
It will say how many words were selected and probably read them back to you
if you pause.
Be careful not to touch anywhere else on the screen until you have selected
all you wish.
Then, do a single finger double tap and the dialog will pop up where copy is
an option. Other options are lookup, highlight, etc.
This is covered in the user manual but I hope that is enough to get you
going.
It can take a bit of trial and error until you get used to it.
I love it myself. It provides a great way to pull out particular passages.
