I very much like the type of stereo bluetooth in-ear ear-phones which sit on your shoulders (sort of losely around your neck). The ones I have are the LG Infinum HBS 900 (or the 910 have two microphones for better call sound quality).
They have ear buds on the ends of short wires which automatically retract into the base unit when not being used and you press the retract button. When you use them, you gently pull the ear bud (or both if you want stereo) out of the base and insert into your ears. They have buttons on each side of your neck for controlling volume, talking to the iPhone, play/pause and forward/backward, answering a call, etc. If you walk off and forget your iPhone they will vibrate as you get out of bluetooth range. You can also set your phone not to ring for an incoming call, and then just your headset will vibrate to alert you to the new call. I think they cost around $80. They come in various colors, and they have an 1100 model with supposedly better sounding music. My wife (who is sighted) feels for a bluetooth headset you may want to leave on all the time, these look much more professional than the on-ear model, or the bone conduction model which sits on your head (I was working in a corporate office when I first needed to purchase a bluetooth headset, so this was important).
