Are the calls that come through in your favorites? If so, those calls
will come through even if you have turned do not disturb on. Are you
just turning the feature on/off from settings, or have you chosen a
schedule? If you have chosen a schedule, you might check and make sure
the scheduled times are not ending too early. For instance, if you
have it scheduled to end at 7am and you get a call at 7:30am.
