Tom:
Along the right side of the screen when downloading apps with IOS6 there is
a downloading dimmed button. What I found was that when that goes out, goes
back to download, no dimmed, that the app is fully downloaded. Must admit I
have not reduplicated this after downloading some apps last night. Worked
that time, though. I don't like not being told when the download is
finished either, and I hated not having some gauge on the locked screen when
downloading the upgrade, or even a sound, to tell me it was downloading.

Hi,
I have mixed feelings about how the app store operates when updating apps.
On one hand, I like the way I'm left in the app store after tapping an
update buttton. On the other hand, though, I'm not happy about not seeing
the download percentage. If it's a major update, the percentage indicator
really gives me a rough idea of how long the update might take. Oh, and
this is sort of a nit, once the update button is tapped, VO doesn't tell me
when the status changes to Open.

Tom and Others,

I like to look at the new features for an App before performing an update.
In IOS6, that information is further down the page. What I have discovered
is that by changing the Rotor Setting to Headings, I can flick down with one

finger by heading and find the information very easily. With IOS6 out,
numerous apps will need to be updated, and this is a handy way to find out
new features before performing these updates.
