I totally agree Sieghard, and that is one of the main reasons I upgraded to the 
iPhone 8 this year.  Of coarse I was upgrading from an iPhone 6, so there were 
lots of other reasons, but the disappearing of the home button was one of the 
main reasons.
Not that Apple did a bad job on Facial recognition, but for me, this will give 
them 2 to 3 years to get out any bugs and only make it better.
