I downloaded 11.2.1 the day after it came out. So far, I don't seem to notice 
better battery life.
Bummer.
I hope with more time, I'm wrong.

I have been experiencing similar battery behaviour on my iPhone six. I am now 
running 11.2.one I think it is and will see if this has improved the problem.
