Try a three finger double tap to see if you accidently turn speech off that way. If that doesn't work, then, try a two finger flick up and then tapping quickly on the volume up button. some times if you have the sounds set to change with the volume buttons, VoiceOver can seem like it isn't talking, when in fact the volume has just gone to 0. Lastly, you could try connecting it to your computer and using iTunes Configure Universal Access to see if you can turn it back on that way. HTH, Richard

I then went into an email to reply in gmail, and my keyboard did not work. It would only say the letter. Think I may have turned to standard typing now I think of it, but I went out of the email native app, pushed home and power on button together, powered down and powered up. Now absolutely no Voice Over at all! Totally in panic. I think I figured out why my keyboard did not work, but why is my voice not coming back after reboot? Siri I can get, but if I push home 3 times nothing happens. Nothing happens when I two-finger double-tap either! OMG, I crashed it!
