I was able to do a reset of the phone, but during the reset process apparently voiceover gets turned off. I hooked it up to my pc and was able to turn vo back on again with itues. I thought maybe I was the only one experiencing this, but sounds like I'm not. Hopefully Apple can do something about this as it really is a problem if you have to do a reset and you either don't have a sighted person around or don't have access to a pc with itunes.
