Jed, Does this problem occur when you are dictating text in the native iOS Message, Mail, Notes, or Reminder app?
Also, do you reboot your device at least once a day? I seem to be having a problem where my phone is not repeating back to me what i dictate. For instance i use the linked in app a lot, and i'll hit the dictate button and it makes the ding and i'll say what i have to, then double tap again. My phone isn't repeating it back as it should.
