Jonathan,

Now there's a list of features that I can work with, that not only makes sense 
but is interesting.

For me, I only listen to 6 podcasts, 4 are BBC radio ones, the other two are 
from the TWIT netcast network, and as such, the 6 are all recorded well.

Put simply, I can easily see how the feature set that you've listed would be 
useful for someone who listens to a good variety of podcasts, from a variety of 
providers, who may not always meet good quality standards etc.
