I reckon I'm the last one on my block, as it were, to get an Echo. I don't have one. I fear I wouldnt' use it much. I have alexa on my fire tv and don't even use that. But I do have a question. If you get the Echo plus, do you have to get the smart plug then? If you don't then that could bring up some possible uses, though my lamps are on an automatic timer and it's no big deal to adjust the thermostat on my talking one.I have used Alexa on the fire tv to play music with my Amazon prime subscription of unlimited music but still it's not something I do very much.
