I echo that the Bank of America app is accessible.
Unfortunately, the new KeyBank app has issues and I’m working with them to
try to get focus on this. It may be helpful to know that the las time I
detailed out the accessibility issues on Key’s old app and talked to the tech
guy oversseing the app, he told me that they outsourced development of the app
and used a firm that did other banking apps, so he was incredulous that they
had accessibility issues. The head of technology for Key is from Bank of
America, so I need to get word to her. Funny how someone could assume that
just because you outsource app development that the developer would
automatically be a genius about accessibility. At the same time that they
released the new app, they also overhauled the online banking website to make
it more touch screen friendly and it tanked the good accessibility I used to
have with the website. Since I work for KeyBank, this is a thorn in my side,
but I at least have access to the chain of authority, so I’m raising the issue.

Subject: wanting to create a list of accessible banking/credit union apps

Hi,
I am working with a local financial institution who currently have a non-usable
app with respect to voiceover.
I want to provide them with as much information as possible about financial
institutions that have good accessibility and usability. I would appreciate
your replying to this message if you use an accessible banking or credit union
app, indicating the name of the app.
Thanks in advance,
Keith
