As Cristóbal said, it would depend on what is broken and also a bit on whether how much storage it has.
At this point even if it’s a 64Gb 5S and if it were in perfect condition you probably wouldn’t get more than $100 for it, if it is cosmetically not so nice and something isn’t working and it’s only a 16Gb I would probably say you can try and get $20 or $30 for it.
