As for the Dropbox issue, like I said, sometimes Dropbox takes a long time to
sync the files from your computer to the dropbox in the cloud which is where
VDR accesses them. So, yes, it was clearly a Dropbox issue.
As for the battery issue, that very likely is either a phone issue, or a user
issue. It certainly is not a VDR issue.
Just my opinion.

As I said, I've already tried rebuilding my library after uninstalling and
reinstalling the app, which didn't do anything. I even reset my phone's general
settings. It may be an issue with my phone but it only occurs with VDR.

ideas after this.

Yes, I have tried this. I have also tried disconnecting Dropbox from
VDR completely.
I know it is a VDR issue because my Dropbox displays everything, and
VDR only finds a few of the main folders.

I had to reinstall VDR on my phone. I believe it started after that.
