That and fretting over camera quality for things like OCR and other recognition
apps/tasks between the two devices is probably unnecessary. The more important
and impactful aspect for processing such tasks at this point will have more to
do with processing speed and whatever other goodies are under the hood. Which
again, for that price difference, I don’t’ think it could possibly be that much
of a gap.

It’s not like scanning a barcode will be as resource intensive as playing an
intense graphical game.

I’m not sure I qualify as tech savvy. But I see absolutely no reason to spend
more money for the XS or even X max. Even with the advantage of the OLED
display, which should give better battery life, according to apples on specs,
the EXR wins in that category. So I just can’t see any reason, if you want a
new phone this year and don’t absolutely want the home button, why should you
spend anymore than you have to? I think the XR with 128 gigs is the sweet spot.

Hello folks,

This is a question for the tech savvy iPhone users. What are the advantages of
buying iPhone XS over iPhone XR for a totally blind user? Clearly iPhone XS
has 3D touch and the XR does not. The XS has dual camera, and the XR has a
single camera, and the display is different. How important these differences
in practical terms to justify spending 250 dollars more on the XS if you are a
totally blind person?

Cheers,

Cris
