In most cases, Apple's management of the bluetooth stack is extremely good. I 
never turn my bluetooth off, and if nothing is connected, I only see a 1% to 3% 
per hour drain compared with when I tested with bluetooth off. In my mind, 3% 
per hour is almost nothing at all.
