Nancy, as I was telling Mike if the person is replying back to you, the
reply will come write back to you as an email message, in your email
program. If someone wants to send you an email message, and they don't
either have an email message address on their phone or if they don't have
email on their phones which could be true of some flip phones especially
older ones, they could send you an email message by way of doing a new text
message and addressing the message with your email address. I've done just
that for curiosity to see it would work. I did it with my t-mobile bar
phone, of which I don't think that phone has an email area for email
messages, and I've done it with my gusto 3, of which while the gusto 3 has
an email area where you could set up an email address, but unfortunately
that is about the only place on the phone it doesn't talk. So considering
that if someone had the gusto 3 they could create a new text message and
type the email address of the person they want to write too, and as I said I
did it, and it did work. I have a list with several of the phone carriers
email extentions of which I could send. While I have several on this list,
but I think most of these extentions are for the united states phone
carriers. It would be good to know of the email extentions for other areas.
