The sound is noticeable in an office setting, and a classroom one too, but it is far quieter than a Perkins braille writer, and most people don’t worry about that much. The cursor routing keys, yes sometimes I miss them, especially when navigating text and quickly navigating with Voiceover on the iPhone, but when simply reading, I don’t notice much.
