I've used an Orbit in various contexts, including in a training environment, iOS, and for reading. The distinctive sound of the display refreshing is very annoying in a quiet setting, but in a noisier room it's hardly noticeable. The lack of cursor routing keys, for me, is the reason I haven't bought one myself. I use them extensively on other displays for editing, and I habitually tend to reach above the display, only to recall that there are none on this display.
The cell quality is truly remarkable. For someone with extreme neuropathy, I imagine this would be a game-changer. I could see this thing being used in Braille instruction for newer Braille readers for that very reason.
