Hyperbolic much? The Touch ID thing and ability to use your iPhone while in your pocket sure was handy, but come on, we're such a small user group. To think Apple's going to somehow change their plans over something like this? Besides, you can still unlock your phone without removing it from your pocket just by simply unlocking with the passcode. Same as before there was a touch ID. I’m not a face ID fan and also prefer the touch ID, but I'm at least not having as many issues as others seem to be having. I do get the failure scan from time to time, but I either just swipe up again or since I've got my hand on the phone anyway, I just punch in the code real quick. If Apple were ever to come out with a phone that has touch ID imbedded in the screen like some android devices already have, I'd probably get it, but face ID while not as convenient isn't the end of the world either.
