It’s an advantage that we have, that we could use a phone without needing to have it even remotely pointing towards us. But we must adapt. I can almost guarantee that Android manufacturers will adopt something like FaceID, albeit without the true security that Apple gives, well, not counting attention-mode being off for us… Even then they couldn’t take the phone without you at least hearing the unlock sound, at most hearing VoiceOver speaking.
