Hello Anna,

Yours is a very good suggestion.

However, were I totally blind, I'm not certain that I would be comfortable
doing this as I would have no definitive feedback as to when the watch was
awake or locked.

In fact, I experimented with this today and; as I expected, without audio/hap
tic feedback, I had no way of telling if the screen was on or off without
looking at the display. Now, 9 times out of 10, simply touching the display
will wake up the watch but, and I want to emphasize this, but, not always.
Sometimes, one much touch the display multiple times in order to wake up the
device.

I would think that, in certain scenarios, a totally blind person could get
thoroughly disoriented with the device under certain conditions without
audio/hap tic feedback.

Of course, one could use iOS to increase the volume on the watch, at any time.

Mark

Hi,

One thing you can do is turn the volume all the way down. To adjust the volume,
double-tap and hold with two fingers and slide them up or down.

Best,
Anna
