beyond what has been mentioned, few other airplay 2 speakers are
available. The new technology requires more memory than what speakers
have had in the past so it is not possible to upgrade them. Apple
missed a development cycle by releasing a final version of Airplay 2
nearly a year after it was originall announced. speaker companies
engineered designs this past fall and new products are being shown
this weekend at the consumer electronics show in Las Vegas. Products
will be available this summer and fall.
