Some insurance plans cover one rather than the other. I have the dexcom, overall it works well. However, I find it helpful to shave the insertion site, add extra adhesive and apply a patch-like add-on at insertion time to get it to stick well. I would think that difficult to do without some sighted assistance. VoiceOver seems to work with the app in my limited testing.
