The app is not working as I envision and I wonder what I am doing wrong. When I hold the phone over a document I get either no tones or one very short tone. If I tap “capture image” followed by “play,” scanned text is read by the voice I have chosen in voice dream reader. When I open the app, the screen reads as follows from top to bottom: Image Preview Menu Import Photo Capture Image Edge Detection On Flashlight On Batch Mode Off Auto Capture Beta On
Double tapping on menu, followed by settings, indicates the following settings are on: Always Enhance Images Read text automatically after capture Play tone when edge is detected. When I noticed the word “beta” after “Auto Capture” I deleted and reinstalled the app, thinking I did not have an updated copy, but”Beta” is still there. I have a multi-page doc I want to batch scan, but I want to get the individual scanning down first. Finally, along with the choices to keep or discard a document I see :View Text or Image”.
