That's the main thing to realise about bone conduction. You're never going
to get the same richness of sound that you would from earbuds or
headphones. The upside is that you can't really damage your hearing with
them since the sound goes through your skull. They're ideal for reading a
book or listening to GPS instructions while walking so you can still hear
your surroundings normally with your ears. They also don't interfere with
hearing aids which is a plus in my case. One major minus is that I find the
microphone in the Trekz Titanium leaves much to be desired. I would never
do a recording with it. You can be understood by Siri and on phone calls
but it's an area where I'd like some improvement. I don't regret my backing
of the Trekz Titaniums when they came out and will upgrade to whatever the
current generation of Aftershokz is when these ones fail. Aftershokz
customer service and warranty has been very good and they quickly replaced
a set which broke without fuss.
