I really like my Alva BC640 with speech pack, and my RefreshaBraille 18 from APH. In both cases, I like the way the brailling keys feel. The RefreshaBraille has the added benefits of being not much larger than my iPhone, and it connects even when the phone is already unlocked.
If my displays were to permanently die, I would strongly consider the EuroBraille Esys 20 or 40 cell displays.
