The first cell phone I ever b bought was an iPhone 5 on December 21, 2012 at the Apple store on North Michigan Avenue in Chicago. This was when Apple was becoming a cultural phenomenon and the stores were tourist destinations. Hundreds of tourists were packed into this storefront to watch Apple lovers so I had a little trouble getting noticed at first. The woman who helped me was also extremely helpful and enthusiastic. After I told her this was my first cell phone ever, she found An Apple Trainer who spent an hour showing me how to use VoiceOver gestures with my iPhone 5. It was the most unbelievable and empowering unboxing I have ever had in my life.
