I know that Weather Gods is highly rated by people at AppleVis, and has won
a few accessibility awards. I'll take a look at it some time. Does it work
in Ireland, where I am? And how much is it?

Have you considered switching to Weather Gods? This is another paid
weather app but works a lot better than Dark Sky. I used Dark Sky for
several years, but have noticed a drop off of notifications and
decreasing app quality lately. I bought Weather Gods a few weeks ago
and haven't looked back, even deleting dark Sky along with a few other
weather apps from my phone. Weather Gods is totally accessible, and
also gives a lot of customizable notifications about rain, wind, sun
rise/set, and a daily weather summary, along with quite a few more. I
learned from the developer that you can set it to "follow me" which
uses more battery since it keeps up with your location. Or, you can
just set it to use your location when using the app. I have mine set
that way. Notifications come straight from the various weather alerts
from NOAA and are not dependent on GPS location. Finally, there are
weather related sounds for each weather event, like the sound of rain
and thunder for thunderstorms. This is one of the features that sets
Weather Gods apart for me from other weather apps.

Oh yes, I was going to ask about this app.?? I'm having the same issue,
using an SE.?? The forecast appears to be there as you said, but using VO

is nearly impossible to locate reliably or in a timely manner.
If there is a work-around, I haven't found it yet.?? I suppose a note to
