Yes I found it in the Irish App Store, so it probably would work in Ireland.
(It didn't appear in the list of weather apps when I typed 'weather' into
the search field. Though it did when I typed 'weather Gods', along with a
few other apps that have 'Gods' in their name or description.

Flor: Weather Gods works in many places around the world. I don't know
exactly if there is support for Ireland, but you could look it up on
the App Store and see. The cost was about $4 or $5 US, don't recall.
If there are people who prefer Dark Sky over Weather Gods, that's
awesome. At least we have choices for accessible weather information
these days.
In answer to another person's question, I think the Weather Wheel is
like a 7 day forecast of conditions. I would also encourage those
interested to check out the AppleVis podcast on Weather Gods, which
was done back in 2016. You should be able to search for it in Safari
and listen through the browser.

Have you considered switching to Weather Gods? This is another paid
weather
app but works a lot better than Dark Sky. I used Dark Sky for several
years,
but have noticed a drop off of notifications and decreasing app quality
lately. I bought Weather Gods a few weeks ago and haven't looked back,
even
deleting dark Sky along with a few other weather apps from my phone.
Weather
Gods is totally accessible, and also gives a lot of customizable
notifications about rain, wind, sun rise/set, and a daily weather summary,
along with quite a few more. I learned from the developer that you can set
it to "follow me" which uses more battery since it keeps up with your
location. Or, you can just set it to use your location when using the app.
I
have mine set that way. Notifications come straight from the various
weather
alerts from NOAA and are not dependent on GPS location. Finally, there
are
weather related sounds for each weather event, like the sound of rain and
thunder for thunderstorms. This is one of the features that sets Weather
Gods apart for me from other weather apps.
