Yup. I’ve got an old BestBuy Visa card I don’t really use that much because the interest as with all store branded cards is really high. One plus about it though is that I can finance stuff with it on conjunction with my elite plus status for anywhere from 12 to 18 months at zero interest.
My wife’s got an iPad Pro 2017 model and we’re thinking of upgrading her depending on what comes out later this year. I can probably spread out the payments on a larger purchase like that with zero interest via BestBuy as opposed to anywhere else including Apple. Otherwise, we’d probably get it straight from Apple. There are certain products where the manufacturer is extremely strict as to their retail price where I think it is best to buy them from the manufacturer directly unless of course somebody maybe had a gift card for a store which also sells the product. You should buy the latest model which was only released recently and unless there is something weird going on you won’t find it cheaper on Amazon than you would be able to buy it directly from Apple.
