Good morning,
I took the plunge and upgraded from my iPhone 7 to an iPhone XR, and I already
see the difference. Also, the sound is much better than what I was getting the
past few months.
However, I have some questions that were unclear.
I noticed last night that my watch didn’t seem to pair with my phone; although,
my watch is still receiving texts and calls, but it seems to be doing it
independently of my phone. There are certain things I wanted to do with my
watch this morning that required using my phone. Anyway, do I need to re-pair?
When I tried doing it manually it was asking for me to go to the Info button
on my watch to find the device name. Of course, I tried looking for it and
couldn’t find it anywhere in settings or anywhere else. Any idea what I need
to do there?

Also, I have Downcast loaded and running, but nothing was restored! I lost
several podcasts now, and I thought it was synched to iCloud. Not fun.
Finally, both TuneIn and OOTunes radio didn’t seem to remember my most recent
listen to stations.
I can’t complain too much, because most of everything looks the same, but I
guess I was under the impression I’d get everything back if it was backed up to
the cloud.
Did I do something rong?
At this point, I’d like to make sure my watch and phone are talking to one
another again. Do I need to completely remove the watch from the account and
then re-set it, or is there an easier way?
Thanks much for any help.
I do like the new phone!
Jim
