OH my God. This just might be a shut up and take my money situation. Probably not though, My mother's the type who likes to walk the aisles to see what's new or if anything is being discounted. I mean seriously, I dread the call of ... Hey son? You wanna run to Costco with me? Joking aside, it's amazing all these services that are now available to us. I can understand that for a lot of us, personal budgetary constraints are a real concern, but you can always try to score a promo deal. I briefly checked, and RetailMeNot is advertising a few coupon codes for $25 off the first two orders with two weeks free shipping or $50 your first order with Shipt, etc. I have to imagine other services offer similar deals. You can also see about buying discounted gift cards via GiftCardGranny or eBay like Visa branded ones that can be used anywhere for example. I'm assuming if you download the app on an iOS device you can make in-app purchase? If so, then the same would go for trying to grab some discounted iTunes gift cards to pay that way. Maybe if your birthday is coming up you can specifically ask instead of a physical gift, maybe friends or family can chip in to get you a yearly sub to one of these services? Same goes for a Christmas gift... In short, a $100 yearly price tag doesn't have to be insurmountable.
