I can usually handle updating software on my Windows machine or on my BrailleNote, but I am a klutz when it comes to major IOS updates. The update from IOS 4 to 5 went badly, as did the one from 5 to 6. Restore from back-up did not bring back my apps; I had to put them back on manually and then re-create the folders and move the apps into them so the phone would be organized the way I want. I am losing faith in the process and in myself. So, from here on in, I'll just have to remember not to re-boot the phone unless I'm home and can connect to the PC.
