I've had the same experiences re Siri saying I have no voice mail (Even when I have just missed a call and heard the notification announcing a message was left) and she will refuse to phone saying that there are no voice mail messages. It has been this way since I first got my IPhone 8 in January so I had thought it was just the way Siri is. (Frankly the feature is such a disappointment in so many ways one more didn't make a major difference.) But if these are actions that it can perform that would be great.
